How to reach Claude

Getting to Claude takes about a minute, and you sign in with an account you already have.

In a browser, go to claude.ai. To keep it one click away, download the desktop app from that same site and pin it; it is the same Claude, just in its own window instead of a tab. Either way, sign in with your Microsoft 365 work account, the same login you use for email and Teams. That work login is what puts you on the firm's plan, so use it rather than a personal account.

Claude comes in a few forms, and the trick is matching the form to the task.

Chat is where you start. Quick questions, revisions, email drafts, short explanations, anything back and forth. If you are not sure which one to reach for, it is Chat.

Cowork is for bigger jobs: several documents at once, structured analysis, a project that takes more than a single tidy answer. Reach for it when a task is too large to fit in one reply.

Claude Code is coming later. It is for building automations and tools behind the scenes, and it is not part of your day yet. You will hear about it if and when it becomes relevant to your work.
